Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Student Status. Courses are open to any applicant who possesses a good command of the English language and is able to follow instructions. Adequate Physical Health to be able to fulfill job requirements (a person’s ability to function properly within the industry and campus to be successful in completing the diploma. A person who may be suffering from an illness or disability that would affect their ability to be in proper attendance at the campus and in placement would not be in adequate physical health for this program). An admissions interview will be administered to determine if the applicant has the required interest, motivation, and entry-level skills to take this program. Full-time students must attend the required hours per week as per the course schedule and may do so at times convenient to them.
Program Highlights
The Police Foundations program is designed to provide students with the knowledge of procedures, concepts, and skills needed to protect the public, detect and prevent crime and other activities directed as maintaining law and order. Upon graduation, students will be well-equipped to work as police officers.
