Today’s paramedics are the highly-trained front line of our medical services system. This critical profession calls for candidates who possess equal measures of self-confidence, inner strength and unwavering commitment to helping those in distress. Our 53 week Paramedic training program, which includes a 450 hour placement, provides the skills and knowledge you will need to practice emergency pre-hospital medical care and to function as an integral member of the health care team, assisting victims of accidents and illness, safely transporting patients and, if needed, continuing emergency treatment after arrival at a health care centre. The Paramedic program includes clinical and field placements. Typical employers include non-institutional health services, provincial and municipal governments, hospitals, manufacturing, mining and other private sector organizations.
ADMISSION SELECTION PROCESS: To ensure the finest candidates enter the Paramedic field we have instituted a unique admission selection process. Requesting program information will have you in touch with our Admissions team who will be able to provide you with information on the process and the timelines involved.
