The Graduate-Level Osteopathy Program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) is a comprehensive, principles-based education designed to develop skilled manual osteopathic practitioners. Students benefit from a structured curriculum rooted in classical osteopathy, preparing them for professional certification and clinical practice across Canada.

The program also enables students to gain clinical experience through CAO’s teaching clinics, opening doors to both independent practice and collaborative healthcare roles.

Program Details

Are you passionate about helping people live healthier lives through hands-on, non-invasive therapy? The Graduate-Level Osteopathy Program at CAO offers a four-year, graduate-level education that blends theory with extensive clinical experience. Students gain over 1,500 hours of classroom instruction and 1,000 hours of supervised practical training.

The curriculum focuses on:

  • Classical osteopathic principles and philosophy

  • Advanced anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics

  • Palpation and manual treatment techniques

  • Osteopathic treatment planning and clinical application

Learning is led by internationally trained faculty in small-group lab settings, allowing students to develop deep expertise in manual therapy. Upon completion, students are eligible to challenge the Osteopathy Canada Examination (OCE) and begin professional practice.

Students enrolled in this program will receive:
