This Windsor College program is a computer-aided drafting (CAD) using CAD software in the market. It explores basic dimensioning, editing and drawing manipulation functions. Additional topics including tool and die making program and explores power work holding devices and modular tooling systems. No previous computer experience required. Objectives through a series of real-life case studies, you’ll learn how to evaluate designs using such time-honored principles as consistency and alignment. We help you to: Learn how to use the various CAD software in the market Develop an understanding of the significance and importance of CAD Become familiar with CAD/Engineering terminology, architecture and literature in a variety of media Develop basic skills necessary for communicating graphically the needs, ideas, and requirements of progressive industrial manufacturing environments in the Lettering/Text, Geometric Construction, Isometric and Orthographic Construction and others Grading System and Certification. After successful completion of the program, a Diploma certified from Windsor Career College will be granted. This program is approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. |
