About The Program

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Hybrid Diploma prepares you to become a qualified Early Childhood Educator, equipping you with the knowledge and hands-on skills to support young children's development, create engaging learning environments, and build meaningful relationships with children and families.

This 98-week flexible program is designed for working professionals who want to change careers without giving up their day job. Study evenings and weekends while gaining 1,070 hours of training plus 535 hours of hands-on practicum across 4 real childcare placements.

The program combines 40% self-paced online learning with in-person instruction from expert ECE professionals who bring years of real-world childcare experience into the classroom. Graduate as a qualified Level 2 Early Childhood Educator ready to work in licensed daycare facilities, preschools, pre-primary programs, and family child care settings across Nova Scotia.

Mondays: 6 hours self-paced online learning
Tuesday-Friday: Live classes 6:00pm-9:30pm AST
Weekends & field work: Lab schools, practicums, certifications
