Helping Canadians get back to work.

Addictions Recovery Support For Youth And Families ( Distance Education)

CDI College's Addictions Recovery Support for Youth and Families program is designed to prepare you for a new career in a wide range of settings, including any facility that deals with alcohol and drug abuse clients or agencies and facilities providing community services, with an emphasis on the needs of children, youth and those responsible for them.

The program is broken down into four parts: Common Skills, Addictions Core Skills, Child and Youth Skills, and Workplace Skills. In each part, you will get hands-on training in key concepts relating to working in social services.

Once you have completed the four modules successfully, the program concludes with a 300-hour practicum, where you will be working with clients in the community.

The Addictions Recovery Support for Youth and Families program is officially recognized by the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF), meaning the curriculum has been approved by the CACCF Curriculum Review Committee, and meets all the education requirements for students seeking CACCF certifications.
