Our Acupuncture diploma program has a tremendous focus on clinical internship, which trains the students to accurately assess the patient and identify the best course of treatment.
Students are practice at CITCM onsite clinic, as well outreach clinics seeing great varieties of patients, students are also encouraged to participate in a 3-month internship at a university hospital in China, where they will gain extensive clinical training under the most experienced professors and specialists. CITCM Acupuncture diploma students are eligible to write The Pan-Canadian Written and Clinical Case-Study Examinations for TCM Acupuncturists as well the Alberta acupuncture practical exams facilitated by the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA) to register as an acupuncturist.
A registered acupuncturist in Alberta can practice national wide, and this title is mutually recognized with Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Newfoundland where acupuncture is regulated. .
