Lethbridge College in partnership with Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) offers exciting Emergency Medical Services (EMS) programs which are taught at Lethbridge College.
As a first responder, you will care for the sick or injured before they arrive in the emergency room, playing a critical role in saving their lives. Not for the faint of heart, a career in Emergency Medical Services is challenging, yet rewarding.
Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)
This entry level medical program gives you the hands-on training you need to provide emergency medical services to the sick and injured. Utilizing a combination of simulation training, practicum placements in active treatment hospitals and training in advanced life support ambulance services, the Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program can get you started on the path to becoming an advanced care paramedic.

Upon successful completion of these rewarding programs, you will be ready to save lives in any corner of the province.
