Eastern College provides bursaries, financial assistance, and one-on-one job placement support to help you succeed from enrollment through employment. Your journey culminates in a web capstone project where you'll integrate everything you've learned to develop a polished full-stack web app perfect for showcasing to potential employers, while mastering how to leverage AI and online tools to streamline tasks using advanced search engines and AI-powered resources—skills that set you apart in today's fast-moving tech landscape.

Full-Stack Portfolio Capstone

Create a custom web app capstone project implementing Angular or React with a PHP backend storing information in SQL databases—a polished, professional full-stack application you can showcase to impress future employers and demonstrate your complete skillset.

What You'll Learn

  • Front-end frameworks and graphic design - Master Angular and React JavaScript frameworks to create web apps with rich functionality leveraging AI-generated code; explore graphic design using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop plus Adobe XD for prototyping; design user interfaces maximizing usability and user experience with AI tools for design prototypes
  • Back-end development and databases - Build data-driven websites using PHP programming language and MySQL databases leveraging AI-generated code, create server-side web applications with open-source technologies, implement robust database storage and retrieval systems for full-stack applications
