Program Details

Across various industries, businesses of all sizes require the movement of goods and services locally and abroad. This need has shaped the supply chain sector: from the design of a product offering including competitive pricing and sourcing materials; through manufacturing and delivery; to the return system of goods. Supply Chain Managers can work in any point along the supply chain, coordinating logistics and making sure that operations run smoothly. They work in supervisory roles in a highly in-demand industry. During the 65-week program, you will have the opportunity to get certified for the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA), placing you ahead of your peers seeking employment in the same sector; and to complete a three-month internship to ensure that you have the hands-on training to feel confident on the job. Students enrolled in the program will receive:
  • 3-month internship
  • Canadian International Freight Forwards Association (CIFFA)*
  • Supply Chain Canada Ontario Institute Student membership
  • Industry-leading guest speakers
  • Microsoft Office and Windows
*A Certificate in International Freight Forwarding from the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) is nationally recognized within the international transportation and trade industries. Successful graduates of this program will also achieve a Certificate of Recognition in Introductory Dispatch and Operations Software from Universal Freight Operating System (UFOS). The certificate is evidence that students are prepared to use the UFOS transportation management system, which is used by many supply chain organizations across North America.
