Phlebotomy Technician

About the Program

NTI's Phlebotomy Technician program is one of the fastest routes into healthcare—just 6 weeks, with new classes starting every 5 weeks. After classroom instruction, you'll move into hands-on clinical training, practicing blood draws on training aids and real people in fully equipped labs. You'll graduate with a Nationally Recognized Career Certificate, prepared to sit for the American Medical Technologist (AMT) certification exam. Flexible schedules let you train while you work, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

What You'll Learn

Collecting, labeling, and handling blood samples safely from patients and donors
Medical foundations, including medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and electronic health records
Administrative duties and computer skills that make you more hireable in any medical setting
Real workplace experience through externships, plus 1-on-1 job placement assistance after graduation
