Personal Support Worker
The PSW Program is 700 hours in length, and consists of two important components: Theory and Practicum
- Theory: Approximately 28 weeks, with 25 hours per week, delivered on a full-time basis, during the day or in the evenings.
- Practicum: Students complete 310 hours of on-job training, in accordance with guidelines set by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
- Practicum placements take place in Community Settings and Long-Term Care Facilities
- The required shifts may be scheduled according to student availability and program requirements
- Full Time Classes are held Monday to Friday
