Medical Office Assist. & Unit Clerk

Our Medical Office Assistant & Unit Clerk program is designed to provide students with the technology, business, and communication fundamentals needed to work within a health care office setting. This comprehensive course covers four key areas: Medical Terminology, Medical Office Administration, Word Processing and Medical Transcription

This accelerated program provides students with exposure to current industry trends and real-world office settings through our 4-week practicum. Additional program emphasis is placed on the development of the student communication and the interpersonal skills required to successfully perform within a health care environment.

As Health Care is one of the fastest-growing industries within Canada; prospective students can look forward to a broad range of employment opportunities. Upon successful completion of this program, you will be qualified to work in hospitals, clinics, and other health care centres.
