Become a Confident Medical Office Professional

At CCBST you’ll develop the skills and competencies needed to excel in a medical office environment. Upon completion, students will be able to provide medical administrative support to medical professionals, and relay their understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. They will also be equipped to establish company records, and understand the mechanics of scheduling, transcription and health care billing procedures.

You’ll also complete a medical internship (practicum) so that you’ll graduate with confidence in your skills and abilities. CCBST is 100% responsible for finding placement for you at an appropriate organization. The length of the internship for the Medical Office Assistant program is a total of 160 hours or approximately 40 days.
