Trillium College’s Massage Therapy program introduces you to a variety of Swedish massage techniques manipulation techniques to treat stress, pain, and other physical conditions or disorders. You will develop the specialized knowledge and skills to systematically assess clients’ needs, formulate comprehensive clinical impressions, develop specific treatment plans and evaluate clients’ progress and treatment outcomes. Our curriculum emphasizes client focused care and is designed to facilitate your growth as a health care professional in order to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

The program at Trillium College will provide you with in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and allow you the options to offer both relaxing massage therapy to clients or address musculature and conditions that can be remedied through massage. The Massage Therapy program is designed to develop the specialized knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary for conducting a systematic client assessment, formulating a complete clinical impression, and developing a specific treatment plan. Students learn to perform safe, competent, and comprehensive massage therapy while constantly evaluating the outcome and consulting with the client.

Work towards becoming an RMT at Trillium College

Limited enrollment and direct interaction with instructors ensures you will receive individual attention in this dynamic course. As a graduate of this program, you will be eligible to challenge the provincial certification examination with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Successful completion of the certification exam will allow you to become an RMT. We are also active members of the Ontario Council of Private Massage Therapy Schools (OCPMTC) and the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools (CCMTS).
