This course is designed for current Health Care professionals and/or those with degrees in the Health or Physical Sciences who are
considering pursuing a second or complementary career in the field of Massage Therapy. Building upon the student’s core scientific
knowledge, this course covers the fundamental skills that will enable students to understand the interactive and dynamic process
used in the assessment, evaluation and treatment of MT clients. The course consists of lectures and practical demonstrations in
which students are required to actively participate. Following completion of the course, participants will not only have added to their
existing skill set, but will be in a position to knowledgably assess MT as a second career option. Completion of this course may also
assist otherwise qualified candidates in applying to Registered Diploma Programs in the field.
