Helping Canadians get back to work.

Health Care Aide

Health Care Aides provide personal assistance and support services for people who require short and long-term care. CDI College can train you on how to work with clients who have complex medical needs such as chronic medical conditions, physical or cognitive disabilities, functional deficits that interfere with day-to-day activities, and end-of-life care.

In the 27-week program, you'll learn how to interact directly with the client, providing them with physical assistance as well as the emotional and psychological support to help them get through the difficult time.

Your courses will cover essential topics including communication skills, the human body and development, medication assistance, personal care, and more.

To solidify your new knowledge, you'll also complete valuable clinical placements before you graduate.
