Helping Canadians get back to work.

Computer Technology

This course provides real-world skills for entry level computer service technicians and networking professionals. Extensive hands-on experience in the classroom combined with individual and group exercises ensures that students leave with the confidence and knowledge necessary to achieve their employment goals.

Our graduates must complete in-depth hands-on examination study in preparation for industry testing, learning the theory required for high demand industry certification from CompTIA, A+ and Network+. We provide all technical material and lab experience as well as practice exams prior to performing industry exams.

Many Tech programs teach “A+” but their students are not required to complete industry recognized exams, rendering the graduates unprepared and unemployable in industry. Cypress College graduates train and prepare for CompTIA testing and graduate job ready with valuable credentials that are industry recognized worldwide.

Our students are taught the interview skills to gain employment, the practical knowledge to retain employment and the social comprehension needed to excel in their career. In addition to preparing our students academically, we also help them hone job interview techniques, assist in developing a professional resume and cultivate the work expectations required in a modern business technology job.
