If you are looking to start a new career that makes a difference, CDI College's Child and Youth Services Worker program is a great place to start. In the program, you will pick up the skills you need to enter the rewarding social services field, with training in areas focused on helping at-risk youth, including psychology, poverty, and addictions. Upon graduation, you can specialize in helping youth through issues of family troubles, domestic violence, and mental health. Upon graduation, you can find employment in a number of areas including drug and alcohol treatment facilities, correctional facilities, group homes, aboriginal agencies and other community service facilities.
