About the Program

The Foundations Program is Alberta Barber Academy's accredited Level 2 Certificate training, approved by Alberta Industry and Training. This program transforms aspiring barbers into confident professionals through structured theory, supervised practice on real clients, and comprehensive skill development in a professional barbershop environment.

Over 525 hours of training, you'll master fundamental barbering techniques including classic cuts, fades, beard grooming, and client consultation. Work directly with paying customers under expert supervision, building the speed, precision, and professionalism that employers demand.

Schedule Options:

Day Classes: 14 weeks, Monday-Friday 9:30am-4:30pm
Evening Classes: 24 weeks, Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-8:30pm (popular option)
Weekend Classes: 28 weeks, Saturday-Sunday 9:30am-4:30pm
