Assistance Dentaire – 5144

The Dental Assistance - 5144 (French) program at CDI College prepares the student* to work as a dental assistant in various private and public health care institutions in Quebec. It is an intensive training program that allows graduates to quickly enter the job market.

This program includes twenty-two (22) modules promoting theoretical and practical learning. Four (4) modules are conducted in the workplace.

Program Objectives

The Dental Assistance - 5144 program has been designed so that graduates can:

  • welcome clients, prepare necessary materials, and assist the dentist in providing oral treatments;
  • give post-operative advice;
  • perform tasks related to prevention and treatment planning, contamination control, biomedical waste management, and administration of daily operations.
