Applied Nutrition

Program Description

Graduates of the Applied Nutrition program receive the designation Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CHN) upon completion students are qualified to apply for the RNC designation through the Canadian Examining Board or to the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Professionals (CANNP) for the NNCP designation.

Career Opportunities

The Applied Nutrition diploma program is ideal for a range of professionals, including:
Certified Sports Nutritionist (CSN) Develop and implement nutritional plans for athletes and sports teams, for the purposes of maximizing health and performance.
Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CHN) Educate clients and empower them to apply holistic nutrition to their everyday lives through herbs, essential oils, supplements, and healthy nutrition.
Certified Natural Health Practitioner (CNHP)  Work as a specialist in health clubs, clinics, health food stores, supplement retailers, wellness centers, and more.
Health coach Work with individuals to help them improve their health and maintain a healthy lifestyle with dietary plans, safe exercise routines, and monitoring systems.
