    The Accounting & Payroll Specialist diploma program focuses on financial accounting, payroll, the implementation and operation of computerized accounting systems, and business application software. Graduates of this program will secure an associate membership in the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), as well as, be eligible to pursue the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the CPA.

    Graduates who successfully pass the Canadian Payroll Association-designated courses – Payroll Compliance Legislation, Payroll Fundamentals I, and Payroll Fundamentals II (65% passing grade in each course as well as the final exams) – will be eligible to pursue the CPA’S Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, nationally recognized as the standard of excellence for payroll training. You must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the Payroll Compliance Practitioners certification:
    • Obtain the Introduction to Accounting transfer of credit;

    The Video Game Development diploma program at triOS College focuses on developing the programming and design skills you need to be successful at indie and Triple-A (AAA) gaming studios.

    This project-based program teaches you how to get a game to market, from prototype to release. Your experiences in this program will lead you to create a unique portfolio that will help you stand out to hiring managers.

    You’ll build multiple 2D and 3D games using the Unity and Unreal gaming engines and implement Artificial Intelligence into your games. Learn how to code in C++, C#, Java, and Swift, and design your own levels and characters. You’ll even have the opportunity to publish your finished games to online app stores before you graduate.

If so, the Personal Support Worker program at triOS College will set you up for a successful future. A Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides assistance in routine living activities such as: mobility, personal care and hygiene, ongoing medical conditions, and the management of household activities. As a trained personal support worker, you may look after patients in a home, hospital, and/or long-term care facility. If you want to play a part in providing optimal healthcare to patients in need, then the Personal Support Worker program will set your foundations with strong administrative and clinical skills and knowledge. By the end of this course, you will have effective communication, be able to implement theories on topics such as cognitive and mental health issues and brain injuries, and assist with patients’ medications. The completion of the in-class courses is followed by a clinical placement to get hands-on experience in the field. Students enrolled in this program will receive:

You will learn to develop interactive web content using technologies including HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. By the end of the program, you’ll be equipped with skills to develop application programs for use on desktops and servers, using Java, C#. ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server. Students enrolled in the program receive:
    • 2 certification exam vouchers for Adobe ACA.
    • Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription.
    • Microsoft Office Professional Plus, Imagine Premium, and Windows are included in the tuition fee.
    Successful graduates will be eligible to write certification exams leading to the following designations:

    The Equine Massage program offers 991 hours of practical experience within the classroom and a barn setting; one-on-one career assistance is also provided to help you get your dream job.

    Career Opportunities

    Most Equine Massage Therapists are self-employed and travel to meet clients at various locations – barns or a public facility. You can work with veterinarians, coaches, trainers, horse care specialists, and horse owners.

With the growing demand for expertly trained Equine Massage Therapists, you can now help rehabilitate equine athletes while helping their owners maximize the potential of their horses. Be a part of the veterinary health care system by learning equine anatomy, behaviour, and physiology, equine massage theory and techniques, and skills to treat and manage equine. By joining the Equine Massage program at triOS, you will enroll into the only program of its kind in North America; it teaches you ways in which to incorporate both theory and technique into your day-to-day practice of equine massage.
