As a Video Game Art graduate, you will qualify for positions such as Applications Developer, Graphic Designer, Multimedia Programmer, and Animator.
Are you passionate about video games? Do you have what it takes to design and implement strategic and engaging art into these games? If so, then triOS College’s Video Game Art program is just what you need to launch a new career in your field of interest.
This program will allow you to tap into your creative side and help you develop the skills you need to become a well-rounded gaming artist. Throughout the program, you will learn how to create 2D animations, animate 3D models for video games, create visual digital art, and much more. You will work in Apple and Windows operating systems and use industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
Students enrolled in this program will build a portfolio of game assets and designs, based on their projects, to help secure employment after graduation. To gain hands-on experience in the real world, the Video Game Art program also comes with an option to take on a 16-week internship. The Video Game Development diploma program at triOS College focuses on developing the programming and design skills you need to be successful at indie and Triple-A (AAA) gaming studios.
This project-based program teaches you how to get a game to market, from prototype to release. Your experiences in this program will lead you to create a unique portfolio that will help you stand out to hiring managers.
You’ll build multiple 2D and 3D games using the Unity and Unreal gaming engines and implement Artificial Intelligence into your games. Learn how to code in C++, C#, Java, and Swift, and design your own levels and characters. You’ll even have the opportunity to publish your finished games to online app stores before you graduate.

The Community Services Worker program provides Non-Violent Crisis Intervention ® (NVCI) Training to all students; you will also have the opportunity to implement life skills workshops, substance abuse treatment and behaviour management programs into your training as a healthcare professional.
As a Community Services Worker graduate, you will qualify for positions such as: Support Worker, Relief or Distress Centre Counsellor, Group Home Worker, Addictions Worker, Client Service Worker, and Outreach Worker.

Community Services Workers learn how to counsel clients living in group homes and who are taking advantage of social service programs. You will supervise clients’ activities and assist them in pre-release and release planning. There is also volunteer work involved in the field – you will understand how to coordinate volunteer activities for human service agencies, healthcare facilities, and art and sports organizations.
Courses such as Working with Addictions, CPR and First Aid, Group Work & Human Relations, Psychology, and Introduction to Mental Health will provide you with a secure foundation to work closely with clients who require legal, financial, housing, employment, and other services.

The Addiction Worker program will help you develop group facilitation skills as well as entry-level skills in 1-2-1 counselling; you will also take part in an 8-week internship for hands-on experience.
As an Addiction Worker graduate, you will qualify for positions such as: Addiction Worker, Distress Centre Support Worker, Group Home Worker, and Outreach Worker.

This program is designed to provide you with the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required for employment as an Addiction Worker. You will learn to apply the principles of addiction, pharmacology and structured relapse prevention planning. You will gain practical skills in intake, assessment, motivational interviewing and treatment planning with a strong emphasis on case management and professional ethics. Course coverage includes an in-depth study of family dynamics and addiction as well as special populations: First Nations and other ethnic/cultural groups, youth, sexual minorities, elderly, concurrent disorders, homeless, gender (women), crime, HIV/AIDS and suicidal clients. Principles of communication are explored in great depth and students will explore anger and stress management techniques. A strong focus is given to presentation skills, Microsoft Office applications, documentation and record keeping, the ability to multitask and prioritize, organizational and detail skills, professional telephone manner, confidentiality, interpersonal skills and being a team player.
