Why choose the SE Health CDE Virtual Study Group?
Multiple strategies are utilized to support exam candidates including self-study, live weekly webinars (peer and guest presenter led reviews and interactive poll questions and live chat), archived recordings of presentations, guidance and support from the CDE study group facilitator, and 24/7 access to an online Community of Learning. Participants are provided access to a supplemental online Diabetes Care “fundamentals” self-study module at no additional cost. We have a history of experience and success, supporting hundreds of interprofessional participants from coast-to-coast over the past 9 years to achieve an overall 91% CDECB exam success rate* (*exam success rate determined based on cumulative average of post study-group evaluation voluntary self-reported exam success rates between 2011-2019) 92% of past participants would recommend this study group to their peers.n the development of our CHR Program, we worked with communities to build a curriculum and training program with Community Health Representatives themselves that meets their learning needs. This program is also registered in our BC college.
Through our SE Career College of Health, we offer the Community Health Representative (CHR) Diploma Blended Delivery (BD) Program. This program has been developed to support CHRs who wish to minimize the time required to leave community and family to complete their CHR training. The program offers the best of face to face and virtual (online) education training. Students in the CHR BD program will learn through a combination of in person sessions, modules done at home and weekly Virtual Gatherings done through virtual technologies. Virtual technologies can include tele health and/or computer based meeting programs.
