    Program Length: 40 weeks Computer Networking & Security Diploma program is a hands-on training program that strikes a balance between the latest computer theories and their applications. The Greater Toronto Area is Canada’s largest technology hub. In fact, Toronto is the third largest IT hub in North America. It is vastly multilingual and multicultural and vast majority of the IT labour force has a post – secondary certificate, diploma or degree. At Queen’s College, our smaller class sizes will allow for a more personalized training about the necessity for security and how the needs of information assurance affect all aspects of implementing, managing and utilizing network resources. As a successful graduate of our program, you will:

  • Today’s organizations are faced with the challenge of rapidly detecting and responding to complex cybersecurity breaches. This course will prepare you with the skill needed to qualify for ever-increasing opportunities in security operation centers (SOCs) as an analyst or incident responder. This course focuses on how to monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity threats. IoT is expanding at a tremendous rate, and as such it is becoming increasingly important for professionals to understand what it is, how it works, and how to harness its power to improve business. This introductory course will enable learners to leverage their business and/or technical knowledge across IoT-related functions in the workplace. In the course, you will examine the main concepts of IoT, including how parts are connected, how they interact, and how they value add to data generated.
