    The School And Facilities

    • We follow a ministry approved leading curriculum and use the excellent Milady Cosmetology Textbook and workbooks
    • The course has a strong emphasis on hands-on skills development with two thirds of the time spent practicing, working and learning in our modern, state of the art salon environment with close supervision and assistance from our training team.
    • Our onsite teaching salon is open to the public and provides the perfect environment for our students to develop their hands on skills and get a taste of their exciting careers in hairstyling to come.
    • The Professional Hairdressing Kit supplied includes only professional grade equipment and products at a very reasonable cost
    • We provide placement support for every student and our graduates are in high demand.
    • We are proud partners in education with industry leaders, the KAO Group. We exclusively use their color and treatment products in our salon.
    • On a regular basis, Goldwell Professional Educators provide custom seminars, tailored to our students’ needs delivered here in the Academy. These experts provide a detailed review of color theory leading to greater understanding of the chemistry involved. 
    • The Academy regularly hosts other industry expert guest instructors and demonstrations on a variety of specialized topics such as Nano Extensions and Bridal Up Do to broaden the students’ learning and exposure.

  • Microblading Fundamentals Course

    This comprehensive 12-hour training is designed to introduce you to this service which has taken the industry by storm.  Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, micro stoking, feather touch and 3D Brows is a form of permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulating hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments.

  • COURSE DESCRIPTION

    This comprehensive 1-day training course is designed to introduce the trainees to a fast growing and in-demand service. We will focus on the Semi-Permanent Lash Extensions to create volume and a luscious look with finer, lighter weight lash fiber techniques. Protecting the client’s natural lashes will be discussed in detail. Lash Extensions can become a new and profitable business service you will be qualified to provide.

    This 30 hour course is filled with techniques and ideas for creating classic, cultural and trendy hair looks and styles for any event; These techniques are useful in a variety of industry sectors such as film, photography, Television, and platform artists.

    Our Advanced, Level 2 Updo course is meant to push the limits of Updo styling. The work shop is designed for those who wish to take part in competition work, runway work, movie sets, theatrical work and for various forms of publication.
