INFOFIT Educators

Before getting your Personal Trainer Certification was a ‘thing’ in Canada, Infofit’s President and CEO, Andre Noel Potvin knew that the Canadian fitness industry needed professional, qualified leaders to ensure that a career working in a gym was less of a hobby and more of a way to make a living while pursuing your health and fitness career dreams. To do that, there needed to be a way for fitness professionals to achieve their personal trainer certification.

As one of Canada’s fitness professional pioneers, Andre founded Infofit in 1989, setting the standard for fitness professional education across Western Canada. Infofit is the largest and most established, dedicated fitness educational facility in British Columbia.  Infofit graduates receive higher levels of success with their personal trainer certifications than anyone else, which is why Infofit grads are requested by industry partners more often.

Although Infofit’s Headquarters are located in Vancouver, BC, Infofit’s reputation attracts fitness minded distance-based learning students from all over the rest of Canada, the USA and from various countries around the world.

Our students come from all over Canada; Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Quebec, Montreal, Whitehorse, Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, Regina, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, and Saint Johns. US students have included Seattle, Portland, New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Detroit, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and many more. Global students have taken distance based classes and a few have travelled to Canada to take classroom based certification from Japan, China, Australia, Mexico, India, Russia, England, France, Greece, Italy, and many more.

Because Infofit offers a variety of personal trainer certifications (ACE, BCRPA, ACSM, NSCA, etc.), we are able to deliver on the needs of local, national and international personal training students more effectively.
