Business, Accounting, Marketing Programs

  • East-West College offers flexible schedules for students. The total length of the program is 640-hour. Students can take the courses as full-time, in the morning, afternoon, evening or even on weekends. It is a fast-track program and students can complete the program in 20 weeks including the practicum. The graduates of this program are expected to work in a variety of health care settings.

  •  The Accounting and Payroll Administration program is designed to provide job-oriented training and skills to prepare the students for the workplace environment and equipped with fundamentals principles and practices in a small business and corporate environment. Towards the end of the accounting component of the program, there is an in-house practicum where students will do full-cycle accounting using a simulated company. In addition students will finish all the courses required to be certified as Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP).

     
  • The program aims at providing the students with the skills and training that will allow them to develop an entrepreneurial mindset as well as to prepare them for many entry level management or administrative positions. Even when just starting out, graduates of Office Administration can manage finances, human resources, marketing, operations, information systems and accounting issues. Office Administration program offers a curriculum that is career oriented and market driven.

  • The Business Administration Diploma at East-West College that provides business knowledge, technical, operational and entrepreneurial skills to perform efficiently and ethically within their specific areas of business in management roles. The total length of program is 54 weeks (1080 hrs). Business Administration Diploma is offered in various flexible class schedules like morning, evening and weekends.

Healthcare, Wellness, Pharma Programs

  • East-West College offers flexible schedules for students. The total length of the program is 712 hours. Students can take this course as full-time, in the morning or evening shift. Students can complete the program in 32 weeks. The graduates of this program are expected to work in a variety of health care settings.
  • East-West College will provide the hands-on training and support to start your new career as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). The courses include Relaxation and Therapeutic Massage techniques along with subject such as Anatomy, Physiology, pathology, Business and Ethics. Massage Therapists students will be given an added advantages in-house clinic and outreach clinic under the direct supervision of a Registered Massage Therapist. Graduates of the 2245-hour (1st year and 2nd year) Massage Therapy Diploma are eligible to start their career as Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in massage clinics or may open their own massage clinic. Upon graduation you will put your step on a professional world with the required qualification to work as Massage Therapist.

Education, Teaching Programs

  • If you love working with children and teens; if you enjoy working as a team member; and if you enjoy working in the dynamic, challenging, and creative setting of schools, then our Education Assistant program may be for you! Your days will be filled with challenges, the joys of learning, and the assisting of others to achieve their individual goals. Education Assistants are vital members of the educational team, supporting students with special and diverse learning needs from kindergarten through Grade 12 in Alberta schools. Under the direction of professional staff, Education Assistants provide personal care, behavioral and learning support. Education Assistants also facilitate inclusion, communication, and social interaction. The job of an Education Assistant is extremely rewarding.  
    In addition to the General Admission Requirements, applicants must prove high English Proficiency Requirement, the following program admission requirements apply: High School Diploma with ELA 30-1, Math 30-1 or 30-2 with pass mark of at least 60% And satisfactory interview with EWC representative. or For mature students who are above 18, Entrance examination (Scholastic Level Examination will be given) And satisfactory interview with EWC representative. Criminal Record review issued by Calgary Police Service. To be requested once an offer of admission has been made.
