  • Delmar College is proud to offer a licensed and accredited, full time Esthetics program. NEW! Our Esthetics program now also includes Brazilian Waxing training! Our 608 hour Esthetician program is licensed by the Private Career Colleges branch of Alberta Advanced Education, a regulatory body under the Government of Alberta, and as such, is eligible for student aid funding. Our Esthetician Diploma includes both theory and practical experience in the following subjects:

  • In recent years the demand for nail enhancements has boomed. Delmar College offers the latest techniques in the ever-changing nail industry with a unique program format. Our goal is for you to graduate with confidence and build a clientele while you are a student with us.
    This 336 hour program is licensed by the Private Career Colleges branch of Alberta Advanced Education, a regulatory body under the Government of Alberta, and as such, is eligible for student aid funding.
    Our Nail Technician Diploma includes both theory and practical experience in the following subjects:

    Learn the theory side to colour; how to use it and mix it, the face, and it’s features, corrective makeup techniques, products and tools, eyebrow cleanup and correction, bridal makeup techniques, and skin typing.
     
    On the practical side learn application techniques for daytime makeup, evening makeup including smoky eye, bridal and special occasion application.
     
    Makeup 101 also includes Infection Prevention Control
    certification for makeup artistry.
     

    MAKEUP 102 - Advanced Makeup

    Take your makeup artistry skills to the next level in our Makeup 102 certificate program.
     
    Learn and practice advanced eye makeup techniques, advanced contouring and highlighting, camouflage

  • The beauty industry is ever evolving. Clinical Esthetics is part of that evolution and focuses solely on the health of the client’s skin. Using advanced technology and cosmeceutical products, you will be introduced to the world of results driven treatments.

    This 380 hour program is licensed by the Private Career Colleges branch of Alberta Advanced Education; a regulatory body under the Government of Alberta, and as such, is eliglible for student aid funding.

We approach our hair and esthetic programs from a student focused perspective and believe the education we provide is second to none.

Delmar College is owned and operated by Dan and Carla Cavanagh, both of whom have their Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Alberta, as well as hold Masters degrees in Educational Administration and curriculum development. Our instructors are experts in their fields and participate in ongoing professional development. Our programs not only offer great creative components but include all of the fundamentals needed to successfully pass government exams and industry standards.

Delmar College is located two blocks from Chinook Station in a newly renovated facility with ample parking for clients. We are registered under the Private Vocational Training Act and are members of the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) as well as the Alberta Association of Career Colleges (AACS) and have been a long standing member of the Better Business Bureau.

*All student funding, whether made available privately or through various government branches, is only approved to those who qualify, by the original source of funding. There are many criteria that each candidate must meet to be approved. Schools can only inform you of what may be available.
