  • With our global community rapidly expanding, and with the increased interest and dependence on world trade, the industry of importing and exporting goods couldn’t be more important or vital to the world’s economy. Individuals trained in Import/Export will be familiar with the details of the regulations and laws that govern world trade, as well as be privy to the current dialogues and rhetoric of the international market. This program teaches students valuable skills recommended by the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), which will provide all the tools necessary to eventually become a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) Areas of study include research in international business, legal aspects of international trade, law and business ethics, spreadsheets and databases and financial mathematics.
  • A diploma in Business Administration is by far the most flexible kind of college training. Students can start careers in many different business roles, including accounting, sales, marketing, and administrative support.

Want to become a valued office team member and qualify for management roles? Business training is the first step to mastering the technology, strategy, and skills you’ll need to get there.

This Business Administration program provides an overview of business principles, practices, and operations with a focus on communications and administrative skills. Areas of study include accounting, database applications, and client services.

  • Skilled drafters interpret the ideas of engineers and present them in the language of manufacturing and construction. In the past, drafters primarily produced working and schematic drawings using a variety of drafting machines, rules, T-squares, curves, triangles, and other drawing tools. Today, individuals in this role produce these drawings using a computer-assisted drawing system known as CAD. This program develops the skills necessary to determine the information to include on drawings. Areas of study include taking and interpreting measurements, manufacturing, interpreting technical information related to materials and the manufacturing process, illustrating the arrangement of components and power train systems, interpreting and creating drawings and sketches, specialized functions of a computer-aided drafting program.

This program prepares students to become skilled drafters that interpret the ideas of engineers and present them in the language of manufacturing and construction. This course offers three different areas of study to choose from; Track A – Visualization & Animation in Engineering Design, Track B – Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Drafting & Design, Track C – Architectural / Engineering/ Construction Building Design.

Program length: 16 months (25 hours/week) includes 16 week internship

  • Interior Designers conceptualize and produce aesthetic, functional and safe designs for interior spaces in residential, commercial, cultural, institutional and industrial buildings. Computers are used to aid in drafting, color matching and final product visualization. This program prepares students to conceptualize and produce aesthetic, functional and safe designs for interior spaces in residential, commercial, cultural, institutional and industrial buildings. Areas of study interior design and decoration, color, space planning, CAD of interior designs and decorators, textiles and interior materials, furniture and accessories, lighting and commercial and residential perspectives and renders.
  • Sustainable Architecture is a new approach to architectural design and construction that focuses on green con-struction technologies, renewable energy, and improving the energy performance of buildings. Most governments are now concerned about issues of sustainable development and environmental awareness of individuals. The Sustainable Architecture program prepares students to meet the requirements of the construction industry in general and to meet the growing need to adopt and develop strategies for development and design that are sus-tainable. Areas of study include applied mathematics for architecture, technical architecture and drawings, design, construction and environmental sustainability, services of green buildings and energy management, analysis and design statements of green buildings and regulation of construction and building codes.

Education, Teaching Programs

  • Early childhood education is a fulfilling career choice, helping to provide a foundation of support to encourage children to grow into their full potentials. Those who are interested in pursuing this career should enjoy planning and organizing recreational activities for young children, enabling them to integrate into groups and greater society. Empathetic communication is necessary to establish relationships built on trust and to develop their capacities for creativity. This program provides training for the care and guidance of preschool children under the supervision of early childhood educators, stimulating and developing their intellectual, physical and emotional growth. Areas of study include the fundamentals of early childhood psychology, child safety and risk management, behavioral intervention, strategies, social-emotional development, and educational activities.
