Education, Teaching Programs

  • If you are interested in helping children and youth who require extra support to achieve their full potential, assist teachers in early childhood settings or elementary and secondary schools, or help children and youth in the community, the Education Assistant diploma program is designed for you.

With a focus on the individual’s social and educational needs in an inclusive environment, students are prepared to change people’s lives through caring, education, and promotion of healthful, purposeful lives.

Through theory and practice, case studies, specialized training, and work experience practice, graduates are well-prepared and equipped to enter the field of special education.

Veterinary, Animal Services Programs

  • The Veterinary Health Care Assistant program fully prepares the successful student to provide a large number of clinical and administrative services in a range of animal care facilities. In this health care field, the animal is the patient and the animal’s owner is the client.

The multi-faceted work of the veterinary assistant spans the duties of the animal health technician and the veterinary office assistant. The veterinary assistant develops a set of skills that is useful to both clinical expertise and administrative skills in the veterinary practice.

The pet care field is a growing industry where an increasing number of people choose pets as a part of their household.  An aging population adopt pets as companions, and animals can require as much care as their owners.
