Our expertise and continuing research within the Canadian security sector provides opportunities to provide advise and lead projects within Canada and internationally. Often our team is relied upon to provide advice and project management for projects relating to the safety of Canadian citizens and our international partners.

Legal, Policing Programs

Criminal Justice Diploma
The Canadian Criminal Justice Academy Criminal Justice Diploma will provide the learner with substantial academic background, skill sets, and practical experience for future career opportunities as a criminal justice practitioner. Graduates will become candidates of choice in the security sector and capable of seeking employment in a range of justice related fields, including:
- Municipal police services,
- Federal police and enforcement agencies,
- Canadian Border Security Agency,
- Provincial and municipal Peace Officer,
- Correctional Peace Officer,
- Private security agencies ,
- Provincial, private, and non-governmental justice related agencies.
In-Service Training
CCJA offers in-service training to security sector agencies in Canada. This can
be offered on contract basis to law enforcement agencies, security companies, or individuals looking for professional development within the security sector.

Calgary Campus

The Canadian Criminal Justice Academy is an innovative academic and consultancy institution based in Calgary, Alberta. We encourage creativity, rigorous analysis and comprehensive research in all our programs and services.

We bring a wealth of knowledge and experience as leaders from three major law enforcement agencies in Canada (Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Calgary Police and Edmonton Police). We are dedicated to security sector education, and have the experience and knowledge to help learners build a successful and rewarding career in criminal justice. Our team also includes a diverse faculty, partners and learners who form the heart of CCJA and drive our constant desire to challenge ourselves and adapt to the needs of our clients.

*All student funding, whether made available privately or through various government branches, is only approved to those who qualify, by the original source of funding. There are many criteria that each candidate must meet to be approved. Schools can only inform you of what may be available.
