Technology, Networking Programs

  • The AIML program provides training in the skills required for a career in AI. You will master TensorFlow, Machine Learning, and other AI concepts, plus the programming languages needed to design intelligent agents, deep learning algorithms & advanced artificial neural networks that use predictive analytics to solve real-time decision-making problems.

You will design and build your own intelligent agents and apply them to create practical AI projects including games, machine learning models, logic constraint satisfaction problems, knowledge-based systems, probabilistic models, agent decision-making functions and more.

You will also understand and master the concepts and principles of machine learning, including its mathematical and heuristic aspects.

  • The NSECP program provides training in skills required for a career in Network Security or Cyber Security. You will develop and implement network and cybersecurity solutions considering the affordances and limitations of the computer operating systems, networks, application software, and packages available.

You will develop best practices, strategies and processes to protect business resources through the application of knowledge of vulnerabilities and exploits.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate cybersecurity policies and strategies using project management principles to effectively respond to the needs of the organization's information security requirements.

You will perform security audits to ensure risk mitigation and compliance with security plans, policies, standards, regulations and best practices.

Montreal Campus

Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) is reshaping business — though not at the blistering pace many assume. True, AI is now guiding decisions on everything from crop harvests to bank loans, and once pie-in-the-sky prospects such as totally automated customer service are on the horizon. The technologies that enable AI, like development platforms, vast processing power and data storage, are advancing rapidly and becoming increasingly affordable. The time seems ripe for companies to capitalize on AIML. It is estimated that AIML will add $13 trillion to the global economy over the next decade (Source: Building the AI Powered organization, HBR, July- August 2019 issue). With the increasing pace of adoption, AIML would become ubiquitous, spreading across every aspect of business and our daily lives. The increased adoption of AIML is likely to bring in security challenges.

For us at Ascent College of Technology Inc. | Collège de Technologie Ascent Inc, it made perfect sense that the next generation of our labour force would be needed in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for developing applications. As this AI-based digital transformation takes shape, and this increased adoption would in parallel cause cyber security threats to rise, it became clear the market will require trained resources that have expertise in Network Security and Ethical Cyber Piracy (NSECP) as well. The paradox is that AIML would be used in NSECP to protect organizations from emerging threats.

Eureka! This made perfect sense to launch a cutting-edge college offering IT-specialized programs in the emerging areas of AIML and NSECP.

Our College is promoted by professionals with vast experience in Collegial studies who are passionate to ensure the success of their students.
