About the Program

The Accounting and Payroll Administrator diploma program equips you with the skills and knowledge to supervise payroll departments in banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and public/private sector organizations across British Columbia. In 49 weeks with flexible scheduling options, you'll master payroll practices, accounting procedures, and become eligible to apply for the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the National Payroll Institute.

This program combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, preparing you to maintain complete sets of books, process payroll accurately, and manage accounting operations. Academy of Learning provides financial aid guidance for qualified students and job placement assistance to help you succeed from enrollment through employment. You'll gain proficiency in Sage 50 Premium Accounting and Microsoft Office Suite while developing supervisory and business communication skills essential for leadership roles.

Flexible Scheduling for Working Professionals

Full-time students attend required hours per week at convenient times. Part-time students set their own schedules with minimum two sessions weekly during day, evening, or weekend hours—perfect for balancing work and study.
