About the Program

The Web Developer Using AI diploma at Eastern College is a 65-week program—including a 12-week internship—designed to build practical skills in web design, development, and AI-supported workflows. Through live, instructor-led online classes, you'll gain hands-on experience creating responsive websites and applications while developing the technical, creative, and problem-solving skills today's web development environments demand.

The curriculum runs full-stack: front-end design and coding, server-side development with PHP and MySQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React—all with AI-generated code leveraged where appropriate, mirroring how professional teams work. Through labs, projects, and a web capstone, you'll learn to design, build, troubleshoot, and manage complete web solutions you can showcase to employers when you start your job search.

Classes are held at scheduled times through the Microsoft Teams platform, so you can ask questions, join discussions, and get instructor support in real time—without commuting to campus. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify, monthly payment plans are offered, and Eastern's dedicated Financial Aid Officers will help you explore your funding options.

Full-Stack Capstone Project

Your capstone is a custom database-driven web app built with PHP, Angular, or React, completed with instructor mentoring and code reviews—real proof of full-stack capability for your portfolio.

Server-side development with PHP and MySQL, Linux web hosting, Apache, and WordPress
Modern JavaScript frameworks—Angular and React—plus object-oriented programming in Swift and Java, and Git/GitHub Copilot AI workflows
Career readiness through resume and interview preparation and a 240-hour internship with a web development organization
