The 3D Design, Modeling, and Animation - NTL.0Z program at CDI College provides the student* with a solid foundation in artistic and technical skills and competencies required in the video game, animation, and computer graphics industries.

Creativity is essential in this field, as well as a strong interest in multimedia and video games, modeling, animation, editing, film production, and video game design. The student will become familiar with colorimetry and the basics of artistic representation of the human body, and will apply their knowledge to character creation and animation, lighting, texturing, gameplay design, and overall design. The student will apply industry-standard software and tools to the design processes.

This program prepares the student for a career in a multitude of sectors related to computer graphics. Graduates will be qualified to secure employment in computer animation studios, video game development companies, and post-production and special effects studios. They may also work for industrial design firms, software development companies, or any business needing to produce animation or 3D graphics.

The program aims to train professionals capable of occupying, at the entry-level of the job market, the following positions: 2D/3D animator, 2D/3D modeler, 2D/3D illustrator, game designer, level designer, texture artist, tester.
