BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

The Business Management program is designed with the emphasis on preparing students for leadership roles within a business or organization. Students will gain essential skills necessary to run and or manage a business. This program provides students with progressive skills relevant to today’s market. The experience and skills gained will enable graduates to progress to more responsible roles in management, business planning, small businesses and entrepreneurship. Program of study includes: Essential Skills, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel Level 1 & 2, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, Outlook & Email, Communication Essentials, Business Communications, Bookeeping & Accounting, Employment Achievement Strategies, Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, ACCPAC, MS Project, Payroll Level 1, Marketing & eCommerce, Human Resource, Business Law, International Commerce, Business Plans & Entrepreneur & Small Business.
 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Equivalent 2. Mature students status - 18 years of age or older and pass a pre-entry evaluation Note - All foreign credentials must be translated into English and compared for Grade 12 equivalency by a recognized organization (i.e. WES)
