About the Program

CDI College's Paralegal program—accredited by the Law Society of Ontario—gives you the skills to represent clients, interpret the law, and write compelling legal arguments, at three GTA campuses and online in Ontario.

What You'll Learn

Ontario law across administrative law, torts, contracts, landlord and tenant, and employment law
Advocacy, legal research and writing, ethics, and alternative dispute resolution
Practice management and paralegal accounting for firm or independent practice
A field placement in a qualified legal environment with an LSO licensee in good standing, evaluated by your licensed supervisor

Career Opportunities

Roles: Licensed Paralegal (upon LSO licensing) practising in small claims court, administrative tribunals, and provincial offences; or paralegal roles within GTA law firms

Why it matters: LSO accreditation is the gate to Ontario's paralegal licensing exam—only graduates of accredited programs can pursue the licence that permits independent practice, making the accreditation the single most important feature to compare between programs.
