Imagine a career where no two days are the same.
You get to work in the morning and have a team meeting with the charge-nurse on staff. You get the update from how things went the night before with the residents of the long-term care home. You find out the night went pretty smoothly overall. Mr. Johnson had a bit of trouble taking his medication the night before, but you’re up for the challenge to help him today. Mrs. Smith needs her daily bath and there are some activities you will be involved in the afternoon for the weekly games day for Wing C.
Before you know it, the meeting is over and it’s off to go do patient lifts and assist the residents with their days. You know your day working in health care will be filled with excitement and challenge. You know you are prepared thanks to the training you received from the Canadian College of Health, Science and Technology.
