Helping Canadians get back to work.

CDI College’s Denturist program provides the solid theoretical foundation combined with hands-on training you’ll need for a successful career in denturism.

The Only Denturist Program Accredited in BC

CDI College is one of only three schools in Canada accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Denturism and the only school accredited in British Columbia.

In the Denturist program, you’ll gain an understanding for the full scope of practice in both clinical and laboratory environments, including the building of complete and removable partial dentures, dentures on implants, and managing a professional denturists’ practice.

Additionally, you’ll also learn about pharmacology, oral pathology, gerontology, clinical and laboratory infection control, and head, neck and dental anatomy.

Hands-on Denturist Training in BC

After successful completion of the Denturist program at CDI College, graduates can seek employment as a denturist practitioner, clinic owner, and dental appliance manufacturer/supplier at a dentist-owned clinic or laboratory.

Prior to graduation, you’ll intern at a denture clinic. After you complete your internship portfolio and the theoretical, jurisprudence, complete denture and clinical exams, you’ll be ready to apply for certification to the College of Denturists of British Columbia. Denturists must be registered with their regulatory college and may used the reserved title of Registered Denturist (RD).

As a nationally accredited program, graduates will also have their credentials as a denturist recognized across Canada.
