    The Accounting & Payroll Specialist diploma program focuses on financial accounting, payroll, the implementation and operation of computerized accounting systems, and business application software. Graduates of this program will secure an associate membership in the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA), as well as, be eligible to pursue the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the CPA.

    Program Details

    If you’re looking to pursue an administrative role in a professional business environment, then start on the path to a career in accounting and payroll which places you in demand in both small and large companies. In this program you’ll learn to apply payroll legislation, calculate pay and use administrative software to ensure that employees are working their designated hours, and that cheques are being administered accurately.     Graduates who successfully pass the Canadian Payroll Association-designated courses – Payroll Compliance Legislation, Payroll Fundamentals I, and Payroll Fundamentals II (65% passing grade in each course as well as the final exams) – will be eligible to pursue the CPA’S Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, nationally recognized as the standard of excellence for payroll training. You must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the Payroll Compliance Practitioners certification:
    • Obtain the Introduction to Accounting transfer of credit;
    • Maintain CPA membership either through an individual membership (a 1-year individual Associate Membership is included in this triOS program), or through a company that had a business membership.

    Program Details

    Are you passionate about video games? Do you have what it takes to design and implement strategic and engaging art into these games? If so, then triOS College’s Video Game Art program is just what you need to launch a new career in your field of interest.

    This program will allow you to tap into your creative side and help you develop the skills you need to become a well-rounded gaming artist. Throughout the program, you will learn how to create 2D animations, animate 3D models for video games, create visual digital art, and much more. You will work in Apple and Windows operating systems and use industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

    Students enrolled in this program will build a portfolio of game assets and designs, based on their projects, to help secure employment after graduation. To gain hands-on experience in the real world, the Video Game Art program also comes with an option to take on a 16-week internship.     Program Details

    Are you interested in video game development and channeling your creative side on a day-to-day basis? Do you want to enroll in a program that provides hands-on training and knowledge in the development field? If so, then the Video Game Development diploma program is just right for you.

    The Video Game Development diploma program at triOS College focuses on developing the programming and design skills you need to be successful at indie and Triple-A (AAA) gaming studios.

    This project-based program teaches you how to get a game to market, from prototype to release. Your experiences in this program will lead you to create a unique portfolio that will help you stand out to hiring managers.

    You’ll build multiple 2D and 3D games using the Unity and Unreal gaming engines and implement Artificial Intelligence into your games. Learn how to code in C++, C#, Java, and Swift, and design your own levels and characters. You’ll even have the opportunity to publish your finished games to online app stores before you graduate.

    The Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate program provides graduates with flexible career choices, and the chance to participate in the Revera Partnership Program and be eligible for a job offer before graduation.

    As a PSW, there is flexibility when it comes to choosing your path in the industry. Although a majority of these professionals work for private and not-for-profit home care agencies, others are employed by nursing homes and hospitals. There is also the option to be your own boss and work self-employed.

    Program Details

    Do you want to be a part of the growing healthcare industry? Are you passionate about helping people care for their emotional and physical well-being? If so, the Personal Support Worker program at triOS College will set you up for a successful future. A Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides assistance in routine living activities such as: mobility, personal care and hygiene, ongoing medical conditions, and the management of household activities. As a trained personal support worker, you may look after patients in a home, hospital, and/or long-term care facility. If you want to play a part in providing optimal healthcare to patients in need, then the Personal Support Worker program will set your foundations with strong administrative and clinical skills and knowledge. By the end of this course, you will have effective communication, be able to implement theories on topics such as cognitive and mental health issues and brain injuries, and assist with patients’ medications. The completion of the in-class courses is followed by a clinical placement to get hands-on experience in the field. Students enrolled in this program will receive:
